Hello, I'm Stephanie

Since a little girl I had always admired my mother's dedication and expertise in the cleaning service industry. For more than 25 years, my mom had tirelessly worked to keep homes neat, clean, and meticulously organized. In summer of 2020 my oldest son passed away unexpectedly, and my mother was diagnosed with dementia. I had found myself lost in the face of difficult circumstances. In the midst of grief, I knew that my responsibilities would have to shift. My mother raised me to value family above all else, it was my duty to honor that. As the disease progressed, I took on the role as primary caretaker for my mother. I made a life changing decision to quit my career making nearly six-figures at my peak, to fulfill the only duty that made sense to me. Resigning from that position was the only way of ensuring that she was safe and well taken care of.

With my own family to look after, I had to also make sure not to allow for a financial recoil.  Due to the state of the US economy, it was difficult to to find a flexible job that pays well. I decided to create my own lane. I chose to walk in my mothers footsteps. I already knew cleaning homes was a sustainable lifestyle because I saw my mother do it, and I knew I was capable of doing it because she taught me the steps. With the teamwork of my husband and 3 remaining children we were all able to balance our work lives to be able to maintain round-the-clock care for my mother.  And I was able to grow my business at a rate that I did not foresee.

Three years later, August of 2023 my mother took her last breath. I am so grateful that I made the decision to choose family and not lose my self in the process of climbing the corporate latter. I am very proud to carry her legacy, I know that when I stand on the values and morals that she instilled in me, I will always go far.

Through determination, maintaining values, love, grief , and a bit of creativity, I had found my calling. The Divas Touch Luxury Cleaning Service becoming not just a business, but a testament to the love and care I have for my mother, son, and family.
